About Sheppey Sea Cadets
The aim of the Sea Cadet Corps is to inspire young people to the best possible head start in life through nautical adventure and challenge. The ethos and traditions of the Royal Navy are at the heart of the Sea Cadets and we follow the same corps values. Sea Cadets can get qualifications in a whole range of skills from waterborne activities, sailing, rowing, paddlesport, to land based qualifications, first aid, catering, marine engineering with most of our qualifications accredited by the leading UK bodies, RYA, BCU, Duke of Edinburgh Award and the Pearson Edexcel BTEC Level 1 & 2 in Teamwork, Personal Development and Leadership.
