About Youth Support Worker
KYA's vision is for "a vibrant community youth sector across Kirklees" and this role is to ensure we coordinate a core youth work offer across Dewsbury for young people aged 11 - 17.
You will contribute by:
- 1. 2. 3. 4. Supporting with the delivery of a youth voice programme
- Assisting with the development of 3 Youth Partnerships across Dewsbury
- Supporting with the development of 3 core youth work sessions
- Assisting with the Next Gen Dewsbury outreach programme
Job Title: Youth Support Worker
Hours: 21 hours per week
Contract type: Based at: Initially fixed until 31 March 2029 (continuation of the post is subject to funding)
Various community venues in Dewsbury with opportunities for some home working (to be set out in the Employment Contract)
Salary: £25,919 pro rata (based on JNC Pay Point 6)
Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata) and 4% employer pension contribution
