Join the new Everyday Active TEAM Challenge this April and let's move together.
Keeping active is great for our physical health and improving our mental wellbeing and doing it as a team can be especially rewarding. Anything goes for this challenge - walking, jogging, wheeling, gardening, exercise classes, traditional sports, swimming and more. The more you move, the more activity points you'll earn for your team. You don't have to be active with your team members but do support and encourage each other throughout the month.
To help you get started and have fun with this challenge, visit Everyday Active to discover your new favourite everyday activity. You'll find a wide range of activities for all fitness levels and abilities on offer, read inspiring stories and discover what's going on in your local community. You can also save any searches on Everyday Active and make a personal plan for the week to help you stay on track.
As an added incentive and to keep us all moving, there is an overall Challenge Target of 1 MILLION activity points in April. Every activity you log and every move you make, will go towards this overall target so we're all in this together.
Teams will be entered into our randomly selected Challenge Prize Draw, so everyone in your team has a chance of being rewarded for their efforts.
To get involved with this Team Challenge please follow the steps below:
Set Up Your Team:
To take part in the new Everyday Active TEAM Challenge, all team members will need to sign up and create an account on Kent's free Activity Tracker.
- Add Your Team - your Team Captain (or the first person to sign up from your Team) must 'Add the Team' and create your unique Team name. Team names can help boost morale and build a sense of team identity.
- View Teams - You can click on 'View Teams' to see if your team is already listed and open for you to join.
- Join a Team - If your Team is already set up and listed, just click on 'Join a Team'.
- Invite to Join - If you're the 'Captain' or the first person to set up the Team, you can invite your colleagues/friends to join your Team by sending them the Challenge link along with your Team Name.
Please note, workplaces can enter as many teams as they like. Team size is 3-6 people.
Registering Your Own Activities:
Every Team member must log their own activities. These activities will be included in your Team's total results.
- Click 'Log Activity' when you have completed your daily activity. Your activity points will then automatically appear on your activity tracker dashboard and count towards your team's total points.
Or
- if you use one of the following wearable Apps: Strava, Fitbit or Googlefit you can sync your tracker account to one of these Apps by clicking on the Activity Tracker dashboard next to your name and clicking on the watch icon on the blue bar at the top of the page. Follow instructions to sync your app. Your activity points will then automatically appear on your activity tracker dashboard and count towards your team's total points.
Team FAQs
- Teams can be between 3 and 6 people. Workplaces/organisations can enter as many teams as they want.
- Teams can be made up of colleagues, friends, family. Anyone with an account on the Activity Tracker can join a team.
- Team names can be anything you choose, as long as it cannot be deemed as offensive.
- Team members must be over 14 years old.
- Team leaderboard is sorted by the Team's 'average' activity points.

Please note, this challenge finishes at midnight on 30 April 2025. Activities must be added by midnight on the last day of the challenge for it to count. Points will continue to appear on your activity tracker page after this date but won't be counted in the challenge.
Informed Consent: I understand that participation in this Challenge is entirely at my own risk and I have consulted my Doctor before taking part if I suffer from any of the following: Diabetes, Heart Problems, Asthma, Joint Problems, Back Pain, High Blood Pressure, Previous Injuries. I may withdraw from the Challenge at any time. Neither the organisers nor any partners of the Challenge accept responsibility for any incident, accident or injury sustained in the course of anyone's participation in this Challenge.
