The 2019 Business Games - Another Scorching Success!

On Friday 28 June, 20 workplace teams (over 150 participants) descended on Medway Park in Gillingham to battle it out for the right to be crowned the 2019 Kent & Medway Business Games Champions.

The annual event is an opportunity for colleagues to come together, represent their workplace, try new sports, get active and have some fun outside the office.

Teams participated in a range of sports including Wheelchair Basketball, Sitting Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, Baseball5, Human Table Football and Golf Darts. To wrap up the day, the teams took on the 4x100m 'T-Shirt Swap' relay.

Lucy Tomlinson commented "Our 5th annual Business Games has proved to be another great platform to promote sport and physical activity to a wide range of businesses. The feedback from participants on the day was extremely positive and everyone seemed to really enjoy the range of activities. I'd like to thank Medway Sport for their ongoing support, our Games supporters KCC Release The Pressure Service and Wellbeing People, and of course all the sports coaches and volunteers who helped make the event happen on the day"

It was hot! It was sunny! It was active! What better way to spend a Friday afternoon than at the Kent & Medway Business Games?
