Everyday Active - Walking Challenge

May is national walking month so what better time to get walking? We're inviting you to walk everyday this May and log every step you make to help us reach our overall challenge target of 40 million steps in May!

Keeping active is good for our physical and mental health so we think that's a good enough reason to join this Everyday Active Challenge and walk everyday this May.

In support of national walking month, we're inviting you to log every step you make. Whether it's your daily commute to work, a walk around the block to your 'home' office, a lunchtime walk through your local park, a walk to/from the shops, a walk around the house between online meetings, an evening stroll with the family, we're challenging you to walk everyday this May. By logging all your walks, you'll be helping us reach (and hopefully smash!) our overall Challenge target of 40 million steps in May!

All participants will be entered into the Challenge Prize Draw so everyone is in with a chance of being rewarded for their walking efforts. Good Luck!

If you use one of the following wearable Apps: FitBit, Strava, GoogleFit, you can connect it to your Activity Tracker Profile and any activity will be automatically added to your activity timeline and your walking points and steps will appear on the leaderboard. If you don't use a wearable App, don't worry, you just need to manually enter your activity on your timeline.

Please always follow the latest official advice on social distancing and please check the current Government Guidelines relating to sport and physical activity.

Please note, this challenge finishes at midnight 31 May 2021. All walking activities must be added by midnight on the last day of the challenge for it to count. Points will continue to appear on your activity tracker page after this date but won't be counted in this challenge.
