Virtual Time to Listen: Multisport
Time to Listen is a virtual online workshop for Club Welfare Officers (CWO). THIS COURSE WILL BE RUNNING OVER 2 EVENINGS FROM 7.00PM - 9,00PM ON THE 23RD MAY, AND FROM 7-8PM ON THE 25TH MAY. CWOs must have attended a Safeguarding & Protecting Children workshop previously and will need to be familiar with their own NGB or organisation reporting procedures to the workshop. *Please ensure that your National Governing Body accepts the multisport version of this course before booking.

Time to Listen is a three hour workshop for Club Welfare Officers (CWO). CWOs must have attended a Safeguarding & Protecting Children workshop previously and will need to bring their own Club/ National Governing Body reporting procedures to the workshop. Please ensure that your National Governing Body accepts the multisport version of this course before booking.
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
1. Identify what a club welfare officer does
2. Describe how a club welfare officer works with others to create a child centred environment
3. Explain how the club welfare officer role fits into the wider safeguarding environment
4. Apply learning to case studies including sharing good safeguarding practice
